The Sustainable Decking Co.

Composite deck builders, creating beautiful spaces

Our decision to build using only sustainable materials, ensures every effort is made to help preserve our environment. Not one tree has been harvested to manufacture any of the decking boards we use, and our sub-floor materials (pine) comes from only sustainable forests that are constantly regenerated.

The Sustainable Decking Company only uses capped composite decking boards. These boards are made from either recyclable material such as WPC (wood plastic composite) or manufactured recycled composites such as PVC, or polyurethane.  A polymer cap covers the WPC boards, Alloy Armour is used to cap the PVC range and the polyurethane board has a unique Lastane layer.

The Sustainable Decking Company can help you chose the most suitable product for your project. We ONLY use proven composite decking products such as Timbertech/Azek, Trex and Millboard that have a long history and are proven performers in the field, not just on paper. As the old adage goes, “you get what you pay for”.

20 years of experience building decks

“Without sounding arrogant, the reality is you don’t last long in any industry, build relationships, gain trust, and remain if you don’t do the right thing. I’ve been doing this for over 20 years, and all the above doesn’t just happen, it takes hard work and ethical standards need to be maintained”, say Mark.

Being asked to be an inaugural board member for AHDRA (Australian Deck & Handrail Association) Mark sees as one of his greatest achievements.

“It was a great honour”, says Mark. Helping to pave the way for the next generation of deck builders is something l am very passionate about and take great responsibility in doing so”.
