Brighton

Project

Out with the old, in with the new.

Using H4 treated pine is the only subfloor that can be used (unless it’s aluminium) when building so close to the ground.

This deck size and shape only changed slightly, the choice of board completely changed. The client’s brief was low maintenance, sustainable, and beautiful.  AZEK English Walnut ticked all the boxes.

A long walkway connected the front to back of the home. One step up at the end of the runway, and bang, straight into the and the backyard. Canopy trees shadowed the main area in the warmer months, while low voltage lights will highlight the foliage at night.

Berwick

The half-moon shaped deck located adjacent to the pool complements what was already a beautiful space. The single step up gave the impression of a slightly elevated platform, a perfect spot for lazing around while relaxing underneath the tropical palms.

Ringwood

Contrasting board colours made it super easy to see the deck edges and step treads. Deck lights located on the risers enabled the treats to be seen clearly at night while additional light highlights the deck edge.
One of the most realistic composite boards on the market, so you can see why this board is fast becoming very popular.
